Shay Miller is pretty bummed about her life. She is working temp jobs until she can find a new job and she is in love with her roommate, who already has a girlfriend and only sees Shay as a friend. Then one day waiting for the subway, Shay witnesses a woman throw herself in front of the train. Shay is shocked. The woman was about her age and Shay can’t let it go.
Shay ends up going to the memorial service and meets Cassandra and Jane, two sisters who were good friends of the woman. They are glamourous and sophisticated, which is everything Shay is not. But they befriend her and Shay starts to enjoy life again. But one morning, Shay wakes up in her new apartment to the police banging on the door. She sees blood on the floor and a man’s wallet. Shay has no idea what is happening but it looks like she is being framed. Who are the sisters and what do they want with Shay?
I didn’t love the previous books by these authors but I really enjoyed this one. A lot of twists and it holds your interest as you try to figure out what is going on. A must read!
