December 20 at 2:00 PM: Love & Saffron by Kim Fay
When 27-year-old Joan Bergstrom sends a fan letter—as well as a gift of saffron—to 59-year-old food writer Imogen Fortier, so begins an enduring friendship that sustains them through the Cuban Missile Crisis, the assassination of President Kennedy and the unexpected in their own lives.
January 8 at 7:00 PM: Trailed : One Woman’s Quest to Solve the Shenandoah Murders by Kathryn Miles
A riveting deep dive into the unsolved murder of two free-spirited young women in the wilderness, a journalist’s obsession, and a new theory of who might have done it.
Have your own club? We’ve got the books! Our book club kits contain 10-12 copies of each book as well as discussion questions. New titles are added periodically throughout the year.
Kits must be picked up at the Plainfield Library – we cannot send them to other libraries to pick up. Contact the Adult Services Desk at email@example.com if you have any questions or are interested in borrowing a kit.
