After Amelia wins a trip through an office raffle, Adam and Amelia have set out to a remote Scottish inn. Things get off to a rough start with the arrival of a big snowstorm. Well, to be accurate things were already rough between the two, but this trip is supposed to help them rekindle their relationship, and the weather doesn’t help. Once they arrive at their destination, things don’t get any better as things get increasingly creepy – someone peering into the window, strange noises, doors opening and closing – and increasingly dangerous. Someone seems to have an agenda here, and it appears that only one of the Wrights will be returning home.
With its dark atmosphere and more than one unreliable narrator, Feeney’s latest delivers with sharp turns and increasing tension. You might want to leave the lights on for this one.
