Bookmark Design Contest
Celebrate National Library Week (April 7-13) by designing a bookmark
for the Plainfield Public Library. Here are the contest rules:
- The family-friendly design can be based on the National Library
week theme “Ready, Set, Library!” or anything
book/library/reading themed
- The design should be an original creation (avoid using copyrighted
images or licensed characters)
- Use the provided template at the bottom of this page.
- Designs can be vertical or horizontal
- Don’t include any 3D elements (like pop-up items, chunky glitter, puffy paint, anything that sticks up off the page)
- All artwork will be kept by Plainfield Area Public Library for possible
future use
- Limited to 1 entry per person; do not include personal
information on the bookmark design (age, name, grade, etc.)
- Entries must be submitted between March 18-30. Submit
your entries in-person at the Youth Services desk or email your
design and entry form to plainfieldkids@papl.info
- Winners in each age category will receive a prize and have their
bookmarks printed to distribute in the Library
