The Will County Clerk’s office website provides information about how to register and what you need to get the process started. You can also check to see what precinct you are in and where your polling place is.
You have several options for registering to vote, including:
- Online through the Illinois State Board of Elections application website
- At the Library by filling out a paper application with one of our voter registrars (Deadline 10/8/24)
- Print and Mail by filling out a paper application on the Illinois State Board of Elections website
- In-person with a Registrar at the Will County Clerk’s office
There is also Grace Period Registration/Voting as well as Same-Day Voter Registration through the Will County Clerk’s Office.

Vote by mail
Voting by mail is an option for any qualified registered voter in Will County to cast their ballot prior to Election Day. Visit the Will County Clerk website for more information on voting by mail and to check the status of a vote by mail ballot.
