Mickie Lambert has been assigned to create the digital scrapbook for Nadia Denham, a curio shop owner. Mickie meets with her at her shop and is intrigued to say the least. But before Mickie can even begin to work, Nadia is found dead. Mickie decides to do the scrapbook anyway since her company has been commissioned. Nadia had left the 12 objects she wanted cataloged with a story about each one.
As Mickie starts to work, she starts to get threats to stop. She also gets attitude from Nadia’s adoptive daughter and new owner of the store. There are also the police who keep questioning her about her whereabouts the day Nadia died. All of these obstacles just makes Mickie want to found out the truth about Nadia’s life. But digging into someone’s past may have consequences that won’t be good for Mickie.
I was really intrigued by the premise of this book and it did not disappoint. I had a hard time putting it down. I enjoyed the story, characters and the twists. Definite recommend!
