Rose and Fern are sisters. Rose really worries about Fern after a horrible incident from their childhood and feels as if she needs to really watch over her. Fern will go to great lengths to help Rose. There’s something not quite right going on, but which sister is the one to be wary of?
This was one of my favorite books of the year, and not just because the plot kept me hooked and guessing until the end. Sally Hepworth has done a fantastic job writing a character on the Autism Spectrum who isn’t one-sided or full of stereotypes. I loved everything about this story.
