Wren Greenwood thinks she has found the one. She met Adam on the dating app Torch. She really didn’t think anything would come of it but it is 3 months later and they are going strong. Or at least she thinks so. Until one night she gets stood up by Adam and then gets a cryptic text from him apologizing and that he had to leave for good. She goes to his apartment but there is a family there claiming it is a vacation rental.
Wren is confused and even more so when a stranger shows up at her house asking questions about him. It turns out the stranger, Bailey Kirk, is a private investigator and he has been after Adam for awhile. Apparently, three woman Adam dated are missing and he used a different name with each of them. Now Wren is determined to find out what happened to those women and who Adam really is. But is Wren the next target?
This book kept you turning the pages trying to figure out who Adam is. I got a little mad towards Wren at the end because of the decisions she was making but overall I definitely recommend this one!
